Who We Are: Who We Are: ServiceWorks is a national program funded by Americorps, Points of Light, and Citi Bank. We help high school students (16-18) gain 21st century skills and connections, to develop a plan for college and career readiness. We use Volunteering and Skill Building to accomplish this, the program implements a curriculum, consisting of five modules two workshops, and two service projects.
Destinations: North Grand High School & Chi Arts High School
Work: Workshops must be dedicated to networking and workplace development. Must be able to dedicate 1 or 2 days to run a workshop, on employability skills training. Volunteer can run a workshop on resume readiness, interview tips, finicial aid, financial literacy, dressing for interviews etc.
Another option: Volunteer as a career guest speaker.
Volunteers may also assist with service projects.

Description
ServiceWorks powered by Americorps, Citi Foundation, and Points of Light is a national program that uses volunteer service and skill building sessions as a strategy to help youth and young adults develop the skills they need to prepare for college and careers. Scholars will also recieve training in critical 21st century leadership and workplace skills, the chance to build their networks and connections in their communities, and the opportunity to use their new skills by participating in and leading volunteer service projects.
