The Food Program at the Neighborhood Resource Center of Greater Fulton Hill is looking for volunteers to help for 4 hours weekly or bi-weekly in our 1200 square-foot urban food garden, located at 1519 Williamsburg Rd, Richmond VA, 23231.
Some knowledge of gardening ornamental or edible plants is preferable, but not required; you will definitely learn something new working with us, regardless of experience!
Activities could include weeding, pruning, watering, maintaining our planted beds, hoeing, shoveling, planting seeds, or harvesting food, depending on the needs of our garden
Help is needed on a consistent basis between February 1st and December 1st, and volunteers can either schedule to work directly with our garden coordinator or to work independently, after an orientation.
