Find Your Resilience is seeking new board members to help govern this organization's activities, budget, and programs and services. Find Your Resilience are looking for individuals who are passionate about community action, helping others around them locally and globally to serve on our volunteer board of directors.
Find your resilience is an organization that provides mental health and supportive services to youth and young adult males ages 16-25 with a previous arrest or conviction record. Overall Find Your Resilience is seeking an individual who works well with people, and with others in our community , a trailblazers in the community and assist with community building efforts as well as cultivate and solicit funds and is passion about advancement of youth and decreasing violence among young people. Time commitment Monthly meeting which can be conducted over the phone and in person. Find Your Resilience Corporation is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to prevent youth and young adult males, ages 16-25 from re-offending in the city of Chicago. Our organization develops program and facilitates community outreach workshop to combats recidivism and reduce crime amongst young people.

Description

Find Your Resilience is a Re-Entry program that helps youth and young adults males reduce their risk of re- offending after arrest and convictions. Our purpose is to develop mental health and supportive services to help reduce violence and recidivism rates in the city of Chicago. FYR provides a safe haven to engage in therapeutic and other ancillary services with Chicago’s Youth and Young adults involved in the court system.
