Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida is looking for wish granting volunteers in Citrus, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, Volusia, and Polk Counties! Wish Granters work in teams of two to help grant the one true wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition. This is a very fun and rewarding opportunity, and we're looking to grow in your area.
To become a Wish Granter:
- Email Volunteer Coordinator Arlene Vieira to receive our volunteer application.
- Complete a written interview packet and background check ($26 and good for three years)
- Attend a one-day training. Lunch provided!
- Grant wishes!

Every 38 minutes Make-A-Wish grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.
