We are looking for a Grants writer for our Arts Organization.
Developing and writing grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations, persuasively communicating the organization’s mission and programs to potential funders;
* Assembling and submitting grant requests, including letters, proposals, budgets, and presentations;
* Establishing and maintaining personal contact and relationships with foundation contacts and program officers;
* Ensuring prompt acknowledgement of foundation gifts;
* Maintaining calendar to ensure timely submission of letters of inquiry, proposal deadlines, and
reports;
* Conducting prospect research;
* Prioritizing projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and
manage supplemental material required for proposals’
* Providing writing support for major donor and individual contribution letters and
acknowledgements.
Development:
Making calls to local organizations for donation commitments in the NYC Area
We need someone to do research and find industry executives in the different program fields that will be willing to Volunteer thier time of 4 Hours on Tuesday & Thursdays

Description
Evolving Arts Provides Programs for At-Risk and Undeserved Middle and High school Youth. The Program Creates Partnerships with Local School Districts. Evolving Arts Has Five Mentoring Programs in the Arts. Dance, Art, Music, Film and Fashion including Academic Support.We provide an environment in which children can feel free to imagine, create and welcome the Arts into their Lives.
