Make an exciting difference in the educational future of local 5th to 12th grade students by volunteering for the Sacramento Regional STEM Fair! Volunteers can assist with judging, registration, crowd control, food services, awards, and much more. We’ve made it simple - you can sign up on-line to be a volunteer and only commit to hours that work for you. Check out the Volunteer Guide to view what duties you can sign up for on our website at www.sacSTEMfair.org.

We appreciate any time you would like to devote and we would like to invite you visit the STEM Fair as well as the College & Career Expo. Students can volunteer at the Fair to fulfill community service requirements for many area middle and high schools, too!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to engage and inspire students through inquiry-based learning and exposure to real world issues to become interested in pursuing scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical (STEM) degrees and careers.

Description

The NorCal STEM Educaiton Foundation (also know as the Sacramento Regional Science & Engineering Fair Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Foundation was created exclusively for organizing, promoting and operating the annual regional science and engineering fair. Each event is entirely supported by the community through business sponsorships, donations and volunteers.

Our organization is staffed by a team of dedicated individuals who work to plan, organize, and produce the Fair every spring.

We are an independent community service organization, without funding or direction by state or local governments, or by any of the school systems whose students we serve. Thus, we do not spend tax dollars, nor is our work encumbered by external administrative policy changes.
