This colorful, exciting parade is presented each year and keeps the spirit of the first parade back in 1925. Now known to be the largest Non-Motorized Parade in the country, it still achieves its success through the community’s participation and the dedicated work of its members, volunteers and the generosity of the Sponsors.
Volunteers are needed to assist as foot or street crowd marshals during the event on Thursday, February 23rd.

The mission of the Green Valley - Sahuarita Volunteer Clearinghouse is to place volunteers with organizations that need their help.
Description
The Green Valley - Sahuarita Volunteer Clearinghouse was created to promote volunteerism in the Green Valley - Sahuarita Arizona area. The Clearinghouse works with 50 organizations, referring volunteers to them and helping them recruit and retain volunteers. The Clearinghouse was created under the auspices of the Pima Council on Aging, the Green Valley Council, and the Joyner Green Valley Library. It is staffed by volunteers and is led by an active advisory board. the Clearinghouse annually sponsors a "Volunteer Showcase."
