About

Harbor Light, a transitional housing facility run by The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced teacher or vocational counselor who has taught classes or is familiar with the topic to teach a weekly 12-week course in one or more of the following: Financial management, resume writing, job search, interviewing and career development. In addition, we seek someone familiar with the MBTI, the Holland Codes and other personality instruments. The person who will find this position meaningful will be compassionate, have an interest in helping our residents with recovery issues and who can make a strong commitment to our program. This is is a non-paid volunteer position for 1-3 days per week for 2 hours per day in the afternoons 1-3pm. We are seeking someone willing to make a 12-week commitment.
