  • Tips for a Great Volunteer Experience and Outreach Success:
    • Setup folding table-top exhibit, table covering, and floor-standing banner
    • Arrange Chapter handout materials on the exhibit table
    • At speaker programs: Volunteers are needed for exhibit set-up and meet n' greet attendees at 6:30 p.m. and break down at program close, to approximately 9:50 p.m. Specifically: meet-and-greet guests at venue or auditorium entrance; make sure the exhibit table is staffed before, during and after programs; help run a remote mike for audience Q&A
    • Encourage visitors to learn about the Audubon mission and participate in Chapter programs
    • Ask guests to Subscribe to Chapter email news and alerts at our website
    • Suggest visitors become a Member and make a generous donation to National Audubon, their local Audubon Chapters, and Western Cuyahoga Audubon
    • Recommend people take home chapter newsletters and bird walks, field trips and speaker program information, to read and share with friends
    • Remind people to purchase shade-grown coffee and become a regular member of our new Bird-Friendly Coffee Club
    • Show visitors how to tap into our online educational web resources at our Website and ask them to follow us on Twitter and Facebook
    • And the very best part? Mentor new volunteers by sharing stories about your birding experiences! We hope to see you there!
