ORGANIZATION: JA of Georgia (Junior Achievement)

Junior Achievement of Georgia invites you to serve as a judge for our JA Fellows 2016 Mid-Year Competition. Judges are a part of a 3 - 4 person panel. Judges review a high school student company’s business plan and group presentation using a rubric to determine how much money JA should invest in the company. Judges also provide feedback about the company’s business concept and the overall viability of their business plan. The time commitment for judges is 2 hours.

The 201 6 Mid-Year Competition will be held December 6 - 8 , 2016 at host sites throughout metro Atlanta. Thirteen student companies are currently working to establish a small business and will participate in this year’s competition. The event serves as a learning experience for students providing them with an opportunity to identify areas of achievement and improvement.

To volunteer, please visit http://jafellows.jageorgia.volunteerhub.com/events/index to view available locations and submit your registration for the event. After receiving your registration, a confirmation will be provided outlining additional information to prepare you for your role as a Judge.
