Solar-powered Luci Lights received in Rafah, Gaza

Children of Gaza are experiencing long black-outs every day. Rebuilding Alliance is able to send pallets of solar-powered personal laterns to Non-Governmental Organizations in Gaza who give them to children and families in need.

Rebuilding Alliance is receiving a matching grant to sent two lights for each one donated to children in Gaza! We ask your help to extend our fundraising to places of worship (all faiths) throughout the SF Bay area.

Can you join us this Friday, and possibly every Friday to help out at our donation table during jumah prayer at the MCA? We set-up at 11:30am and stay until 3pm.

Come learn about this remarkable project and help raise funds to send the next the 4th shipment!

To apply, please send a cover letter email describing why you would like to volunteer. If you have a resume, please include it - and also list three references. We'll reply and set up a first interview by phone. Volunteers from all backgrounds, abilities/disabilities welcome.

Description

We learned early-on that to build in war-torn communities one must partner locally with non-governmental organizations that hold the trust of the local community and maintain the highest standards of fiscal and personal integrity.

Everyone who works at Rebuilding Alliance is committed to building peace and justice through programs that make a tangible difference and together, we do our best to make RA a great place to work. Many who have joined RA as interns or in entry-level jobs have gone on to their dream-job or pursued advanced degrees.
