Become a WildCare Hospital Volunteer (For Ages 15 and Over)! Just 4 hours a week can make all the difference. . .
All training provided -- learn to feed, medicate and care for injured, ill and orphaned wild animals brought to WildCare's Wildlife Hospital. Spring and summer are our busiest seasons - thousands of orphaned wild babies and injured adult animals will need your help!
The next orientations for hospital volunteers will be held February 29 and March 1, 2020 12:45pm - 5:00pm. You will choose one of these orientation dates to attend here at WildCare in San Rafael. These are the only Wildlife Hospital orientation dates offered in 2020.
**Please note, if you are between 15 and 17 years old, you must attend one of these scheduled orientations with your own parent or legal guardian. You do need to be age 15 or older to join us as a hospital volunteer. Volunteers are required to attend a shadowing day and four trainings (11.5 hours total) and then commit to one regularly-scheduled 4-hour shift a week through early October (minimum).**
The 2020 Hospital Orientations are filling quickly, so register online today!
