We entered our ministry's cat Chaka in the KingPet cutest cat contest. The prize money is up to $1,200 and this would be a wonderful way to augment the work that our church - the Kingdom City Fellowship- does. If we win this money we would use it to...
1. Send a care package to a soldier we adopted who is stationed overseas.
2. Send a care package to a young adult who is currently imprisoned.
3. Send a care package to one of our foster teens.
4. Do grocery shopping for one of our sick/shut-in seniors.
5. Send a care package to one of our homeless ministry members.
6. Establish a scholarship fund for the teens who volunteer with us throughout the year.
7. Lay the groundwork for the bell ministry we are hoping to start in the coming year.We would also purchase Bibles and some other administrative supplies so that we can send these packages off and stock up on supplies for future care packages. And of course, we'd buy a catnip toy for Chaka!

The mission of MJHS is to aid in the provision of quality education and sound character building programs for young people.
Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
