Helping students

If you believe education is important we have a job for you. Volunteer in a local elementary school in Everett (kindergarten to 5th grade) and assist the teacher in the classroom by working with students on math, reading, writing and special projects. There are flexible hours to be arranged when you get involved. The school is open from 9:00 to 3:30 and your help is needed through the month of May.

You do not need a teaching or tutoring background. Just a desire to assist students in understanding their class work.

This opportunity is posted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), dedicated to helping persons over age 55 find meaningful volunteer experiences in their communities.
