VITAS Healthcare is looking for volunteers to visit hospice patients residing in nursing homes and long term care facilities in the Festus area. During visits, volunteers can read to patients, play games, music, share activities and talents or simply spend quality time listening to their stories. Days and times are flexible according to your schedule and availability. Any time you are able to dedicate for volunteering is greatly appreciated. VITAS Healthcare provides training, orientation and ongoing supervision/support to all volunteers.
