Volunteering as a tutor for a homeless child is a meaningful way to impact your community. School on Wheels is the only agency in Southern California to provide tutoring and educational mentoring to homeless youth. Tutoring with School on Wheels is an hour a week commitment. Anybody age 12 & up can tutor. Volunteers ages 12-17 they must tutor with a parent or legal guardian until they turn 18.
