Family Promise of Albuquerque has collected Christmas Gifts for over 25 families who have been in the shelter program over the last 3 years. These families have worked the program and acheived sustainable independance and are now in their own homes, most of them holding employment to support their families. Most of these families still struggle with the cycle of poverty, and cannot provide a Christmas for their kids with out help.
We need volunteers to come wrap these gifts in time for the holiday, and we wil be providing pizza and coffe thanks to generous donations from Pizza9 and Starbucks.

Description
Family Promise assists families who are at risk of homelessness, experiencing homelessness, or recently exiting homelessness to reach self- sufficiency through a community-based response. We provide a three-pronged approach to address local needs: prevention, shelter, and aftercare. FPA provides comprehensive services to help families become self-sufficient. FPA provides intensive case management and skills training needed to overcome barriers and find sustainable housing and jobs.
