We are looking for qualified volunteers who will work remotely. Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in graphic design. This is a unique opportunity to get practical experience working with a growing non-profit while helping to bridge the divide between Western and predominantly Muslim societies.

Graphic Design & Multimedia volunteers will have the opportunity to:

• Design attractive and friendly graphical elements related to the online platform, websites, marketing material, and social media channels
• Edit and enhance property photography
• Produce audio and video material and animated snippets (pre-production, recording, editing, distribution)
• Design graphics, PPT slideshows, and interactive web elements intended for Drupal
• Create a list of social posts or graphics for social channels
• Assist with coordination of internal events including designing posters/flyers and other promotion material
• Assist with layout and content of websites and newsletter
• Making infographics/Prezi presentations.
• Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

The ideal Graphic Design & Multimedia volunteer will have the following qualifications:

• Educational background in design, digital media, art, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Drupal and video production
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premier and/or Final Cut Pro is a plus
• Candidate must have graphic design experience
• Candidate must possess attention to detail, and ability to prioritize projects

Work schedules are flexible, and we will make arrangements to accommodate outside schedules. Please consider that Soliya does not assist with immigration and relocation.
