The Social Media Volunteer plays a central role in the creation, production, and publication of digital content through Wayside House’s social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

Mission Statement
The mission of Wayside House is empower women to recover sobriety, identity, family, home and community by providing treatment, housing and supportive services. Wayside House is a well-respected Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with over 60 years of experience in helping low-income women overcome addiction and mental illness. Since its roots as a homeless shelter Wayside House has grown to provide comprehensive, intensive services for women with chemical dependency and mental illness.
Description
Wayside House Programs
Wayside Treatment Center, located in St. Louis Park, is a residential substance abuse treatment program for women who also may have a mental health diagnosis. Aftercare and outpatient treatment services are available as well.Wayside Supportive Housing is a safe, affordable permanent housing option for single women in recovery and their children. Twenty units and four scattered-site apartments are available. The sober environment and the support of peers help women in recovery stay on track with sobriety.
Wayside Family Treatment provides comprehensive family treatment services that promote both recovery from addiction and family reunification. Children under 11 may live with their mothers at Incarnation for a period of six months or more while their moms receive treatment and supportive services.
Wayside Wellness Center provides outpatient chemical dependency and mental health treatment with the goal of intervening earlier before the disease has significantly altered the quality of life of women.
