Are you looking for a volunteer project after business hours or your school day?
Adopt A Family Toy Shoppe on Thursday December 8th is for you!
Come help us unpack toys, sort & organize bundles and prepare for the big day! You will directly help serve over 1,200 children in our city by volunteering.
ALL VOLUNTEERS need to be at least 18 years old OR 13 & up with a parent.
**School/youth groups, clubs and sports teams are welcome with authroized school staff, coach or club sponsor.

Description
We are the Salvation Army of Manatee County and we combine our global mission of preaching the gospel & meeting human needs, with our passion for our local community and call it Mission Manatee.
Our unit is locally driven, funded and focussed. Volunteers are essential in serving our community and we want to recruit, work with and celebrate kindness, compassion, dedication and service.
Our facility in Downtown Bradenton houses two shelters - one of which is the ONLY emergency shelter for woman/children in our county- a large commercial kitchen, food pantry and social service offices to respond to the needs of our homeless community and those at risk of becoming homeless.
