Who we are: Our organization, Ally Research, is run by military families who are trying to spread the word about local studies that can help veterans dealing with mental health issues.
The Need & Our Goal: A lot of options are available to vets but they just don't know about them. Our job is to find and collect information on the newest, cutting edge studies for our military and veteran communities to find the help & answers they need.
What we need: We have already built the search engine and website and just need a programmer to help us to intially make a few updates and then maintain the site by making small changes from time to time.
Specific Experience Required: Experirence in php and laravel framework in php is required.

Ally Research is a military family-led nonprofit that informs frustrated veterans of all of their mental health treatment options, including cutting-edge studies in their area.
Description
Ally Research was founded by military families who were frustrated with the lack of effective mental health care options for our troops. At Ally Research we work directly with veterans and their families who are desperately seeking better treatment options for mental health care. Many veterans feel like they have run out of options when traditional treatment options fail them. At Ally Research we’re here to tell veterans that there is more out there.
Every day clinicians and researchers are developing new and innovative ways to treat mental health and our veterans need to be informed. That’s why at Ally Research we make sure the military communities know what all of their options are.
At Ally Research we’ve created an online platform where veterans are matched to leading edge mental health studies that best fit their needs; everything from an app that treats PTSD symptoms to a study looking at the effects of camping on insomnia. At Ally Research we work with veterans to show them how studies can, not only help them, but also other soldiers who are struggling.
