We need friendly, fun, and reliable volunteers for our adoption events!
These events are often held at pet stores in Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, or Pompano. Almost always Saturdays from 12-4. We also do events at businesses, dog parks, etc.
The address above is one of the pet stores we often do events at; we put the address just to give you an idea of the geographical area you would need to travel to.
The opportunities are:
- TRANSPORT: Help transport a pet from a foster home to the adoption event when a foster parent can't attend themselves.
- EVENT STAFF: "Babysit" a dog or cat at the event. Educate potential adopters about oru rescue, the pet, and adopting from us. Be open & welcoming to encourage people to interact with our pets. Help set up and tear down our tables and suppiles.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue and foster home network for all breeds of dogs and cats in need in South Florida.
Description
Good Karma Pet Rescue is a network of foster homes in South Florida dedicated to providing dogs and cats in need with the love and care they need and deserve. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
GK was started in early 2011. We decided that we could best provide for our foster animals by starting a rescue that aims for high quality care rather than high volume. We intend to stay as small as we need to be to ensure that every one of our foster animals is treated with the same care and respect we show our own furry family.
GK is based in Fort Lauderdale and is supported by wonderful, dedicated foster parents throughout the South Florida area. If you are interested in helping to save lives through volunteering, fostering, or adopting, please get in touch with us!
