Volunteers are needed to spend time with children and youth that live with their mothers at Champa House. We're looking for adults (minimum age of 18) who want to make a difference in the lives of these children and youth as their mothers engage in our New Life Program!
The commitment is one 2-hour "connection" per week for a minimum of 6 months.

About Denver Rescue Mission
Location:
6090 Smith Rd, Denver, CO 80216, US
Mission Statement
Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive self-sufficient citizens.
Description
Founded in 1892, Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.
Lawrence Street Shelter is our most recognizable location because of the neon "Jesus Saves" sign on the corner of the building. Services at this location include shelter (up to 315 men nightly), medical services and relational and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness.
The Crossing provides a long-term New Life Program location for men; the STAR Transitional Program for homeless families and single men and women with children; and temporary housing for New Life Program graduates, interns and visitors.
