We're looking for adults, both men and women, who are interested in investing in the lives of our STAR program participants through consistent one-to-one meetings for a minimum of 6 months (meeting every other week with mentee in person and an email or phone call to touch base on the opposite week). Mentors are required to be spiritually mature, be consistent, be committed to accountability, and have a heart for encouragement. We currently have many program participants who need mentors!

Description

Founded in 1892, Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service Christian charity serving the poor and needy in the Rocky Mountain region.

Lawrence Street Shelter is our most recognizable location because of the neon "Jesus Saves" sign on the corner of the building. Services at this location include shelter (up to 315 men nightly), medical services and relational and emotional support for those experiencing homelessness.

The Crossing provides a long-term New Life Program location for men; the STAR Transitional Program for homeless families and single men and women with children; and temporary housing for New Life Program graduates, interns and visitors.
