About

Reed Elementary in Tacoma, WA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working with elementary-aged youth in our after school math program!

Volunteers are needed to support students with math worksheets, computerized math programs, and more! Many of our students are well-below grade level and need some serious support.

The program is meant for 10 students but we could expand enrollment to 15 with a committed volunteer or two!

Students in our Math program are 3rd-4th grade. Math occurs every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:15pm.

Our Winter Session will begin on Monday, January 9th and will go until Thursday, March 30th.

The daily schedule is as follows:

3:30 - 3:45 snack-time

3:45 - 4:45 math

4:45 - 5:15 academic enrichment and mentoring

In order to volunteer, all we ask is that you come to the main office and complete a volunteer packet. Once approved, we would love to have you working with our students!!!
