Image Impact International seeks a QuickBooks Online Assistant Coordinator to join our all-volunteer team. A New York Metro Area based volunteer is preferred. This volunteer position is part of our organization’s Finance Committee and works collaboratively with Audit Board members. This volunteer reports directly to the Treasurer of Image Impact International and works closely with the QuickBooks Online Coordinator. Image Impact International’s Non-profit 501(c)(3) mission is to mentor college students with disabilities in career readiness.

Specific Duties of this Hands-On Volunteer Role includes:

• Handles monthly data entry of 5-25 transactions into QBO using Finance’s "QBO Data Entry Form".
• Runs monthly and custom reports as needed.
• Assists with QBO training for Finance.
• Attends monthly GoToMeetings with Treasurer and Audit to review transactions.
• Assists with Documenting QBO data entry procedures for Finance Internal Controls manual.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

• Excellent knowledge of computers and the Internet.
• Finance/Accounting Background is needed.
• Needs to be a CPA (Required but not preferred).
• Work fluently with Microsoft Office, email, browsers, Windows operating systems, and PCs.
• Must be experienced with QuickBooks or QuickBooks online.
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Flexible and adaptable to change.

Volunteer Position details:

• Term: Long Term
• Time Commitment: Minimum of 8-10 virtual hours per month; which may include evenings.
• Candidates located in NY Metro Area will be a plus.
