National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
The Plymouth Historical Museum is in need of some talented individuals for our Exhibit team. If you want to have fun, have a creative streak, artist ability, or are a history buff this may be the position for you! On the exhibits team you would be working with the exhibit coordinator to come up with ideas for new exhibits and work to changeover new exhibits. Previous experience in design or window dressing is desired but not required. This position does require light physical labor and the ability to stand for long periods of time. Hours are 10:30am-4:00pm three days a week for about two weeks when changing exhibits and then as needed during the run of the exhibit.

The Friends of the Plymouth Historical Museum, formally the Plymouth Historical Society, is a privately funded membership organization dedicated to preserving, teaching, and presenting history through the operation and support of the Plymouth Historical Museum.
The Plymouth Historical Society was organized in 1948 with 52 original members. The Plymouth Historical Museum opened its doors to the public on 14 February 1976; an addition was completed in 2001. The Museum is housed in a beautiful, 26,000-square-foot building, donated to the Society by Miss Margaret Dunning in memory of her parents.
We'll work with your schedule.
