UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County will be conducting an economic impact study of the Corey Avenue Sunday Market in order to measure the contribution the market makes to the local economy. This Market is located on Corey Avenue between Boca Ciega Ave and Gulf Blvd. The studies will take place on February 5th and April 2nd.

Volunteers are needed at the market to accurately count the number of patrons the market has and to administer short surveys to gather the data on both study dates. The results of these surveys will provide information on both the direct sales made during the farmer’s market and the indirect impact that those sales have through an economic multiplier effect.

Two types of volunteers are needed:counters(low interaction with market customers) and survey takers (high interaction with market customers).
