Our Winter Retreat is upon us this December 28th! An all day event for our scholars, and an evening event for our mentors. It's a wonderful time to celebrate our scholars' return from another successful semester away at school (the first for some!). We're beginning to recruit volunteers at this event and we need YOU!
We're looking for volunteers to assist with event set-up, registration, and food service (meals will be provided for volunteers), and more. Sign up to be a Mentor for a Day, this involves partnering 1:1 with a scholar whose mentor is unable to attend (don't worry - we provide the discussion topics!). This is a great opportunity to become familiar with East Bay College Fund and the work we do around college access and persistence. It's also a chance to explore the possibility of joining our 2017 mentor team.
We'll provide training for all positions, the day of the event, and as always, we are available to answer any questions in the meantime. We have a variety of positions available between 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Want to sign up? Follow this link to choose an assignment. We can't wait to see you there!
