The Alacare Hospice Volunteer Services Program can put your administrative talents to good use!
We are searching for someone who has the ability, and the heart, to help the local office with "in office" duties such as preparing goody bags for our hospice patients, making baskets for our Veteran patients, helping with Admission folders, answering phones, writing cards to our patients and caregivers, and other administrative tasks.
New volunteers are mentored by the Volunteer Coordinator until they feel comfortable and confident in providing assistance independently. Volunteers are never expected to assist with the personal care of patients and are assigned based on their interests and what tasks they feel they can easily accomplish.
Our volunteers set their own schedules and we work with you to make the most of your talents and time! If you have a heart for volunteering, please contact Alacare to find out more about this and other volunteer opportunities available.

Enhabit - Home Health & Hospice seeks kind individuals to help ease burdens of families going through difficult times.
Enhabit is looking for patient facing volunteers to provide services to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
