This volunteer will be training to assist the staff with special event such as memorials, grief support groups, Relay for Life and much more. All required training is covered by Alacare including basic Alacare training and background check. This volunteer will be mentored by the volunteer and community relations coordinator or other staff members.

Description
Enhabit - Home Health & Hospice seeks kind individuals to help ease burdens of families going through difficult times.
Enhabit is looking for patient facing volunteers to provide services to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
