Health care is a human right. Our mission is to educate and advocate for health care reform in order to achieve guaranteed, high quality, comprehensive and equally accessible care for all.
Program Description: Help enroll individuals into Medi-Cal and Covered California
Volunteer Role & Responsibilities: Answer health insurance questions during weekly office hours in various sites Assist people with Medi-Cal and Covered CA plan enrollment.
Time Commitment: A least 1 hour/ week from December 1, 2016 - January 31, 2017.
Requirements: SPANISH SPEAKERS preffered!Complete an online training to become a Certified Application Counselor
Benefits: Gain hands on experience in the Health Field. Become a Certified Covered California Application Counselor
