In EdVenture's favorite SnowVille exhibit, children can experience a fantastical place where every day is a snow day. Join a team in the ice hockey rink, test your aim with the snowball blaster, and slide down "Sled Hill" our 25-foot snow tubing slide!
Volunteers will help facilitate the activities in this popular winter-themed exhibit. Museum hours are Monday-Sunday from 9am-5pm. Volunteer shifts are flexible, with a two hour minimum requirement.

Mission Statement
EdVenture opened its doors on November 8, 2003 , as the South's largest children's museum, with the mission to inspire children to experience the joy of learning.
Throughout this world-class educational facility, children are encouraged to develop their senses through imagination, exploration and discovery. The exhibits give children ages 12 and younger the opportunity to gain knowledge, make decisions and test their abilities in an encouraging and safe environment. EdVenture's eight exhibit galleries are designed to help visitors understand themselves, the world in which they live, the ways to connect with each other and how we relate to each other through cultural and natural means.
Description
Since opening, EdVenture has engaged more than 800,000 visitors in fun, educational experiences. Our visitors have represented all 46 South Carolina counties, all 50 States and 18 international countries.
Family programs offered on weekdays and weekends are designed to involve the whole family in an interactive learning environment. Our programming is an essential component to EdVenture's educational mission and critical to raising the educational achievement of South Carolina students. We offer interdisciplinary curriculum-based programs at the museum for schools and home school groups with topics such as health, physical science, math, fire safety, communities and commerce, environmental science and others. Other programs include early childhood programs like Little EdVenturers, summer camps, Read-To-Me presentations, Scout Overnights and much more.
