As a volunteer tax preparer, you can have a major impact on the well-being of local families. Last year, 725 tax prep volunteers in our region generated more than $20 million in refunds to hard-working families for groceries, rent, utilities, car repairs and savings.

No math or tax knowledge needed. We provide training and on-going support. Volunteer nights or weekends at one of 30+ locations in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. Continuing education credits available for Accountants, CPAs and CFAs.

United Way of Greater Cincinnati was founded in 1915. The annual fundraising campaign became a partnership with American Red Cross, Cincinnati Area Chapter, in 1956. Today the organization covers ten counties: Hamilton, Brown, Butler and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton in Northern Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties in Southeast Indiana.
