Downtown Phoenix is on its way to becoming a bustling place full of local businesses and trendy apartments. However, situated on the outskirts of downtown Phoenix, the Garfield neighborhood is one of the poorest and most dangerous neighborhoods in the country. With a median income of $7,800 (for a family of four) and a crime rate ten times the state and national average, New Pathways for Youth seeks to address these needs through a transformative mentorship program for youth in this neighborhood.

Our evidence-based training and curriculum ensures that this is an effective 1-on-1 relationship for the youth and the mentor. The results are pretty extraordinary - after participating in our program, 75% of our youth pursue post-secondary education!
