Want to make the holidays brighter for senior citizens? Send them a stocking full of little gifts! At Arvada Care and Rehabilitation, we care for about 50 senior citizens, and most of them have very little family or friend involvement in their lives. So at the holidays we want to make sure EVERYONE gets a nice surprise under the tree! We are looking for people to donate stuffed stockings for our seniors. This is what it looks like: either a small box, or stocking, stuffed with a variety of small, store-bought items. Things such as small lotions, spray perfumes/colognes, socks, nuts, dried fruits, candies, or other small items. (no home-made food items allowed)
Please let me know if you are interested in contributing, and we'll set up a time for you to drop them off at the facility. Thanks!
Thanks for your consideration and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
