The San Diego IBPF Fundraising/Event Planning Intern will complete development and marketing related tasks, such as donor communications, sponsor and grant requests, event marketing for fundraising events, and online fundraising. The right candidate must be very outgoing, friendly, comfortable on the phone as well as passionate and knowledgable about mental health. This position requires a deep understanding of our organization and the ability to communicate that information articulately and answer questions about it over the phone and in person.

Flexible hours, will work with your schedule. Must complete hours in IBPF San Diego office between 9a and 5pm.

*Microsoft Office, the internet and phone skills required.

This is excellent entry-level experience for an individual interested in Nonprofit event planning, development and fundraising!

This is an unpaid internship. If you are a current student and able to receive school credit we would be happy to work with your school's requirements.

International Bipolar Foundation is a small nonprofit that provides free educational resources about bipolar disorder. Our mission is to improve understanding and treatment of bipolar disorder through research; to promote care and support resources for individuals and caregivers; and to erase stigma through education.
