Volunteer information sessions are for anyone who wants to learn more about volunteering for ReStore. The history and mission of Habitat and ReStore is covered, as well as an orientation to volunteering at the ReStore. Although participants are encouraged to volunteer after attending a session, it is not a requirement. It's a great no strings attached way for you to get to know a little bit more about us and what volunteers do.

The information session also counts as an orientation, so if you decide to volunteer after attending, you can sign up to volunteer right away! For questions about the volunteer information sessions and signing up, go to our website www.greenbayhabitat.org to RSVP

We also have orientation on Saturday August 13 at 9:30 a.m. Thursday August 18 at 4:30 and Saturday August 20 at 9:30 a.m. Please refer to our website volunteer calendar at www.greenbayhabitat.org

Mission Statement

The Green Bay ReStore works in partnership with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. It is a retail operation providing a valuable source of cash flow through the sale of donated building materials. The revenue supports the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes to help families in need in the Green Bay area.

Description

ReStore accepts donations of new, gently used and salvaged building materials from individuals, retailers, businesses, contactors, remodelers, and manufacturers. These good quality items are sold to the general public at a fraction of retail prices, with all proceeds going to Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity.
