Wanda is looking for a volunteer that is available to come 2x a month. She needs help getting her trash out to the dumpsters, and also light housework such as vacuuming, sweeping and moping. Her home is very tidy, but keeping these things up are important to her, as well as keeping an environment that is sanitary for her health. Wanda is a very sweet and social woman. Although she is only 60, Wanda is on oxygen and is very petite and frail.

Volunteer Chore Services is a program of Catholic Community Services that serve seniors and adults with disabilities on fixed income. Volunteers are matched one on one in the home of the frail adult to help with light house chores, grocery shopping, transportation, home repair, companionship, and yardwork that helps them keep living on their own. Time and location are flexible; you can volunteer in your own neighborhood and are provided with an orientation and coordinator support. Background check required and application.
