Do you have event planning or fundraising experience? Do you enjoy going to events and always wondered what went in to planning them? Come join our gala committee!
The Celebrate Rise Gala is Rise's biggest fundraising event of the year. With approximately 500 people in attendance, we host a social hour with fun games and prizes, live auction, and dinner. Committee members play an integral role in ensuring the success of the event. As a committee member, you would help plan and organize the event with Rise's Advancement team and assist with soliciting fabulous prize donations for each of the games and live auction.
Time commitment:
- Attendance at committee meetings January, February, April, June, July, August, September, October
- Time spent on outreach and solicitations

Description
Rise offers over 40 programs to assist people in meeting their employment and housing goals. These include vocational assessment, career planning, job training, job placement, and follow-up support services as well as outreach to people who are homeless, independent living skills training, and transitional housing. Headquartered in Spring Lake Park since 1971, Rise has 30 offices located in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Western Wisconsin, and we work with hundreds of businesses in those communities.
