Our afterschool mentoring program provides a mentoring program with workshops for students and parents at Denby High School. We are in need of volunteers to pass out flyers and encourage parent participation and attendance on the days of our parent workshops. Workshops are once a month on various days. Volunteer(s) will also assist facilitators with set up and clean up, setting up food and beverages, and distributing and collecting handouts and evaluations.

Description
PURPOSE:
Many young women living in the inner city experience self-esteem, social, and economic pressures that can prohibit their ability to become successful adults. The BRAVO Foundation wants to give young women the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty We will challenge these young women to experience new opportunities, create new ideas, and accomplish their goals. Bravo!
VISION:
Our goal is to empower every young woman living in poverty and lead them to success. The Bravo Foundation will provide comprehensive programs and services to ensure these women have a stable and healthy future. We will expan our services and develop innovative programs in our effort to combat the complexities of homelessness and poverty.
WHAT WE DO
The BRAVO Foundation assists homeless, pregnant, and at-risk young girls and women to avoid and break the cycle of poverty, drug use, and violence and help them to access resources, education, and mentorship to help them to make positive choices and become successful.
