Bridging Borders International is looking for a Board Secretary to service our organization and hold a seat on our Board of Directors.

The secretary will be responsible for taking minutes at board meetings and submitting those minutes for amendment or approval by the board. At the moment our organization does not have a business office, so the secretary would need to keep our records and non-financial legal documents (including our bylaws, articles of incorporation, and minutes of historical meetings) in their home or office for safekeeping.


-Keep accurate records at our bi-annual board meetings (more may be called prior to launch)

-Attend board meetings in person (preferably) or via Skype

-Keep note of and remind the board members of key dates for the nonprofit (i.e. tax filing dates)

-Assist with additional administration needs as we grow our nonprofit (duties may include reviewing the corporate logo and website and attending additional planning meetings prior to launch)

Term: Hold a seat on our board of directors for at least 1 year (minimum).
