Bridging Borders International is looking for a Legal Adviser to service our organization and hold a seat on our Board of Directors.
The basic function of this legal adviser is to read over paperwork, contracts and other documents related to the non-profit and advise before the documents are officially filed. In addition to this, the advisor should be knowledgeable and willing to offer advice in the following fields:
Nonprofit corporate law and governance
Compliance with tax exemption status
Copyright law and rights clearances
Labor and employment law
Immigration law and regulations
Term: Hold a seat on our board of directors for at least 1 year (minimum).
This position would serve as an adviser for our Board of Directors at this time with consideration for our legal representative (if interested) in the future. Please see below to understand who we are and what we will accomplish on this team.
