Volunteers in our Equine Department should expect to work alongside our Equine staff and our four legged friends! Volunteer opportunties in the Equine Department include barn work, leading and side walking in therapeutic riding lessons, assisting with groups and summer camps, etc. Don't worry, you don't need horse experience to be a Equine Department volunteer with us! Our training will give you all the tools, information, and skills that you will need to be a part of our Equine Department team! We look forward to working with you!

The Courage To Dream!
Leg up Farm is a non-profit therapy center in York County, Pennsylvania for children with special needs. Our facility offers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, Equine Services, Nutritional Services, and Behavioral Health Services!
We believe every child is special and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. To achieve this goal, we know that therapy takes a lot of time and work.
Our individually tailored treatment plans, breadth of services, and child-friendly environment in a convenient, centralized location are the keys to success that will improve outcomes for children and families.
