Cinderella's Closet
Two girls are happy to find a prom dress at Cinderella's Closet. We need help inventorying all of the dresses that come our way.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with inventory management, check-in/check-out processes, and serving as personal shoppers, helping students find the perfect dress and accessories. Additionally, we need runners to help move items throughout the boutique. Your support will help make prom a reality for many deserving students in our community.

Fairy Goodmothers, a non-profit organization founded in 2005, is dedicated to boosting the self-esteem of high school students in Central Ohio. We support students who may not have the means to purchase their own prom dresses by collecting and gifting them the opportunity to attend prom with confidence.

Our Cinderella’s Closet Boutique pop-up shop, which opens every February, allows high school students to select a free prom dress, shoes, and accessories. Since its inception, Fairy Goodmothers has helped nearly 10,000 students from Central Ohio experience this memorable event. This year, we aim to send 1,000 students to prom who otherwise would not have been able to attend, and we need your help!

Mission Statement

Started in 2005, Fairy Goodmothers is a non-profit organization dedicated to building the self-esteem of high school girls in Central Ohio. We do this by collecting and gifting prom dresses to girls who lack the means to acquire their own.

Description

Cinderella’s Closet Boutique opens every spring for several days, usu ally on two different weekends. It’s a time when we welcome high school girls to select a prom dress, shoes and even accessories. Since its inception, Fairy Goodmothers has outfitted nearly 9, 000 girls in Central Ohio . Last year alone, approximately 1,0 00 young women visited Cinderella's Closet Bou tique. Girls visited us from as far north as Cleveland, Ohio and as far south as Cincinnati, Ohio. The organization needs help with dress sorting, running our annual pop up shop, and with our fundraising activities.
