Uhuru Foods & Pies is not a business owned by an individual, but a part of an independent African economy and a progressive holiday tradition in the SF Bay Area.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support in November. We are already gearing up for the December volunteering!

Help with our holiday pie baking and sales in December. We also need people to help transport supplies and make deliveries. Students, seniors, community service workers all welcome.

Get involved and gain valuable skills in the kitchen preparing our authentic pie mixes and baking hundreds of delicious pies through December 23rd.

Sign up for a minimum of four hours during the following times:

PIE PRODUCTION
Saturday, Dec 3, 9 am - 6 pm
Sunday, Dec 4, 9 am - 6 pm
Saturday, Dec 10, 9 am - 6 pm
Sunday, Dec 11, 9 am - 6 pm
Friday, Dec 16, 5 pm - 11pm
Sunday, Dec 17, 9 am - 6 pm
Wednesday, Dec 21, 5 pm - 10 pm
Thursday, Dec 22, 7 am - midnight
Friday, Dec 23, 7 am - midnight

All pie preparation and baking takes place in a commercial kitchen in Emeryville.ual, but a part of an independent African economy.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday, December 22, 23 & 24th
Shifts are from 8 to 1pm and noon to 5pm generally in
Oakland, Berkeley, SF and Santa Cruz
