The planning committee will be responsible for the following:
- Book talent, including musicians, bands, and disc jockeys.
- Visit venue to plan layout of seating and decorations.
- Schedule speakers, vendors, and participants.
- Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize event.
- Edit and design promotional materials.
- Prepare presentations.
- Develop and oversee fundraising events.
- Negotiate and secure event space.
- Secure sponsorships.
- Work with printer and designer to develop event invitations.
- Create invitee list.
- Send out invitations and manage RSVP list.
- Hire staff to manage the event, including bouncers and security personnel.
- Manage correspondence.
- Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations.
- Keep inventory of backdrops, projectors, computers, and other display materials.

Mission: To create a strong network of mentors for female mentees from every walk of life to assist them in realizing and operating in their life’s purpose. Our target age groups are 12-19 and 20-35 (young ladies only). Our view is there is a benefit from having a mentor at every age and stage in life.
Description
Vision: Our vision is to spread this movement globally, while having and providing a multitude of various resources to assist mentees in selecting a viable career path, cultivating entrepreneurship, enriching and expanding educational experiences, refining self-perception, and becoming strong leaders in their community and eventually the world.
