The Tulsa Art Deco Museum seeks a volunteer to assist with Development and Fundraising initiatives. The fundraising volunteer will have opportunities in grant writing, prospecting corporate and individual donors, maintaining donor relationships and cultivating museum memberships with visitors as well as community members.
Necesary skills for this position include:
Extreme professionalism in manner and apperence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some basic knowledge of nonprofit fundraising and a desire to learn and advance skills
Self-driven and creative worker
Appreciation for Tulsa's legacy, the Art Deco style, and non-profit organizations
Flexible schedule and ability to attend occasional meetings and events
This opportunity is rewarding way to serve the Tulsa community and help the Tulsa Art Deco Museum acomplish it's mission to preserve and educate. The fundraising volunteer will have great opportunities to gain experience working with a nonprofit organization as well as advance a wide variety of development skills.
