Greet and serve refreshments to volunteer blood donors after the donation process. Friendly, courteous, dependable volunteers with great customer service skills are needed to help monitor the donor lounge. Friendly interactions with blood donors and staff. Some standing and mobility required.

Must be at least 16 years old to volunteer with Vitalant. Background check for volunteers older than 18.

Help to make the volunteer blood donors feel appreciated. Visit with donors while social distancing and help keep the refreshment lounge organized, stocked, neat and clear.

Volunteer help needed at Vitalant Roseville on Fairway Drive on Sundays; 8 am-12 pm or 12 pm-3:30 pm, or Saturdays; 8 am-12 pm or 12 pm-3:30 pm. Other days and shifts available to fill in throughout each month.

Students for school community service okay.

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
