Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer experience? Join us today as a Harris Health Volunteer.
We have a place for you in key hospital areas, patient areas and/or community health centers. We take great care to match your interests and skills to a specific assignment.
You can volunteer on patient care units or non-contact assignments, as well as in key hospital areas. Plus, with several health centers located all over the Houston area, we have volunteer opportunities near you. You can also donate your time and talents to special projects or special events.
There are four types of volunteer opportunities: Patient Experience, Clinical Support, Support Services and Administrative. Areas listed are examples of possible placements.

Description
Harris Health System is a fully integrated healthcare system that cares for all residents of Harris County, Texas. We are the first accredited healthcare institution in Harris County to be designated by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, and are one of the largest systems in the country to achieve the quality standard. Our system includes 18 community health centers, five same-day clinics, school-based clinics, three multi-specialty clinic locations, a dental center and dialysis center, mobile health units and two full-service hospitals.
